Refund policy

This policy applies to purchases made directly through Houkika’s official website. Orders placed via third-party retailers are excluded from this policy.

2. Eligibility for Return or Exchange

  • Requests must be initiated within 14 calendar days from the delivery date.

  • Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging with all accessories included.

  • Personalized or custom-made items (such as those with engraved names, initials, or dates) are not eligible for return or exchange.

Note on Natural Materials:
Houkika pieces are crafted using genuine freshwater pearls and natural gemstones. Due to the organic nature of these materials, subtle variations in color, texture, or surface may occur. These natural characteristics are part of their authenticity and do not constitute a defect; therefore, such variations are not eligible for return or exchange.

3. Return / Exchange Process

  • Contact us via [email address] or through the “Return Request” form on our website. Once reviewed, you will receive a Return Authorization Code (RAC).

  • Items sent without an RAC may be declined.

  • Once received, all items undergo inspection. Approved refunds or exchanges are processed within 7–10 business days.

4. Fees & Shipping

  • Return-related shipping, customs, insurance, and handling costs are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • For exchanges, any price difference or stock limitation will be managed with customer approval.

5. Non-Returnable Items

  • Used, worn, or altered items.

  • Products with perfume, lotion, or makeup residues.

  • Items missing original tags, labels, or packaging.

  • Personalized or engraved items (names, initials, dates, etc.).

  • Items returned after the 14-day period.

6. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method.

  • Partial or no refund may apply if the returned product is incomplete or shows signs of wear.

  • Exchanges depend on stock availability and price differences.

7. Dispute Resolution

For any issues, please contact our customer support first. If no agreement is reached, disputes will be handled under applicable consumer protection and international e-commerce laws.

Houkika reserves the right to amend this policy without prior notice. The updated version takes effect immediately upon publication.
